Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 (As Amended)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC142741712: The City of Manchester (Store Street, Piccadilly Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to restrict traffic on Store Street between Jutland Street and Millbank.
The alternative routes for traffic will be: Great Ancoats Street, Ducie Street, Dale Street, Paton Street, Piccadilly, London Road & Great Ancoats Street, Pin Mill Brow, Fairfield Street, London Road, Aytun Street, Auburn Street, Piccadilly.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate electrical works.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from 10th May 2025 to 11th May 2025.
The order shall come into operation on 10th May 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC142392516: The City of Manchester (Wilmslow Road, Old Moat Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Wilmslow Road Cycle lane.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate manhole repairs.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 12th May 2025 to the 16th May 2025.
The order shall come into operation on the 12th May 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
