East Street, Temporary Road Closure Due To New Supply Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U80005, East Street, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80005, East Street, Hereford, from the Queens Arms to the junction with Off a Street. Grid Ref: 351053/239959.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via will be signposted locally and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to provision of new supply works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1st of June 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night (7pm-5am).
