Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C9037 Alstone Lane and footway from its junction with Rowanfield Road to its junction with St Georges Business Park for a distance of approximately 100 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for track renewal works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 01:00hrs on 17th May 2025 until 03:00hrs on 19th May 2025 only or until completion of the said works.

Temporary Closure Of Unrecorded Foothpaths Across The Field Bounded By Bridleway Zgl 62 – The Ash Path And The Wheatridge East (Abbeydale Ward) Gloucester City

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the unrecorded Public Footpaths across the field bounded by Bridleway ZGL 62 known as The Ash Path, and the Wheatridge East from their boundary with Bridleway ZGL 62 and from The Wheatridge East and shown on the Order Map by Red Diagonal hatchings.

The said unrecorded Public Footpaths fall within Abbeydale Ward in Gloucester City, within the County of Gloucestershire.

The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst new development works take place.

The said unrecorded Public Footpaths are expected to be closed between 26th May 2025 and 26th November 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closure is in force.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for Railway Bridge Inspections.

There will be no waiting, stopping, loading or unloading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 27th May 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force.
