What is happening?

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1)(A) And (7)

The A1 Trunk Road (Gonerby Moor, Lincolnshire) (Slip Road) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no.9346363) intends to make an order on the A1 Trunk Road, at Gonerby Moor, in the County of Lincolnshire, to enable local highway authority works to be carried out nearby.

The effect of the Order will be to close the slip road leading from the southbound carriageway of the A1, to the roundabout junction with the B1174, at Gonerby Moor.

The work will be carried out over one night between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Saturday 31 May 2025. The Order will come into force on 26 May 2025.

Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closure. A diversion route via the A1/A52 junction at Barrowby will be signed.

The A46 Trunk Road (Swinderby, Lincolnshire) 
(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no.9346363) intends to make an order on the A46, in the County of Lincolnshire, to allow local authority maintenance works to be carried out. 

The effect of the Order will be to close the link roads leading to and from the northbound carriageway of the A46 from its junction with Green Lane, at Swinderby. 

The work will be carried out overnight only for one night, between 21:00 hours and 05:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 02 June 2025. The Order will come into force on 26 May 2025.

Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt the closures. Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the A46 will be signed.

(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no.9346363) intends to make an order on the A1 Trunk Road, at Long Bennington, in the County of Lincolnshire, to enable local highway authority works to be carried out nearby.

The effect of the Order will be to close the link road leading from the northbound carriageway of the A1 to Great North Road, at Long Bennington.

The work will be carried out over one night between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Friday 30 May 2025. The Order will come into force on 23 May 2025.

Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closure. A diversion route via Valley Lane, Main Road and Great North Road will be signed.
