What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Littlecote Road (Part), Chippenham; from outside its property known as No.05 Littlecote Road to outside its property known as No.09 Littlecote Road to enable Wessex Water to carry out carriageway reinstatement works and other associated works. Alternative route will be available. This Order will come into operation on 02 June 2025 and the closure will be required for 2 days. B) Fox Party, Leigh Delamere; from its property known as No.08 Fox Party for a distance of approximately 13m in a south easterly direction to enable Openreach to carry out pole testing and other associated works. Alternative route via C70 (unaffected length) – B4040 – Roman High Road – B4696 – C70 and vice versa. C) Fox Party, Cricklade; from its property known as No.82 Whelford Road for a distance of approximately 13m in a north easterly direction to enable Thames Water to carry out stop tap works and other associated works. Alternative route via C70 (unaffected length) – B4696 – B4040 – C70 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 June 2025 and the closure will be required for 1 day. Alternative route via C70 (unaffected length) – B6453 – The Forty – Chicklade Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 June 2025 and the closure will be required for 3 days. E) Fox Party, Lydiard Millicent; from its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 78m in a north easterly direction to enable Openreach to carry out pole testing operations to carry out pole testing and other associated works. Alternative route via C70 (unaffected lengths) – B4534 – B4534 – B4534 – B428 – C76 (unaffected length) and vice versa. F) C90 (Part), Oaksey; from its property known as Keepers Cottage for a distance of approximately 330m in a south easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out sealing of sewage pumping works and other associated works. This Order will come into operation on 02 June 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for 1 day. This Order will come into operation on 03 June 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:30 for 1 day. J) C70 (Part), Grittenham Road; from its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 36m in a south easterly direction to enable Openreach to carry out pole testing and other associated works. Alternative route via Gloucester Road (unaffected length) – Park Road – Old Alexander Road – Parklands – Sherston Road – Harpers Lane – Bristol Street – The Triangle and vice versa. N) Farm Lane (Part), Great Bedwyn; from its property known as No.04 Farm Lane for a distance of approximately 11m in a south westerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out vault lid maintenance and other associated works. Alternative route via C113 (unaffected length) – Brook Street – The Knapp – Farm Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 May 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:30 until 22 May 2025. T) C6 (Part), Minety; from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Greenway Road to enable Openreach to carry out UG civils works and other associated works. Alternative route via C6 (unaffected length) – C129 – C189 – A436 – C6 (unaffected length) and vice versa. U) C371 (Part), Royal Wootton Bassett; from its junction with Stoneover Lane to its property junction with Bricknell Lane to enable Vodafone to carry out replacement of utility work and other associated works. Alternative route via C374 (unaffected length) – A3102 – Stoneover Lane and vice versa. This Order came into operation on 27 January 2025 but will now be extended to 31 July 2025.
V) C6 (Part), Minety; from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Greenway Road to enable Openreach to carry out pole testing works and other associated works. Alternative route via C6 (unaffected length) – C129 – C189 – A436 – C6 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
Phase 1: Bricknell Lane, Royal Wootton Bassett; from its junction with Bricknell Lane to its junction with Chedington Lane.
Phase 2: Chedington Lane (Part), Royal Wootton Bassett and Lydiard Tregoze; from its junction with Bricknell Lane to outside its property known as Bricknell Farm to enable Openreach to carry out new pole installations and other associated works.
Alternative route via C15 – C71 – C174 – A3102 – Bricknell Lane and vice versa.
No alternative route is available for phase 2.
The closures and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
Phase 1 will come into operation on 11 May 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 until 15 May 2025.
Phase 2 will come into operation on 18 May 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 until 30 May 2025.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

A350 (Part), Chippenham and Chippenham Without; from its roundabout junction with A420 for a distance of approximately 140m in a south westerly direction.
A350 (Part), Chippenham and Chippenham Without; from its junction with A350 for a distance of approximately 170m in a westerly then northwesterly direction.
A420 (Part), Chippenham Without; from its roundabout junction with A350 for a distance of approximately 140m in a easterly direction.
A420 (Part), Chippenham Without; from its roundabout junction with A420 to a point approximately 140m south of its roundabout junction with A420 to a point approximately 110m south of its roundabout junction with A420 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out the implementation of narrow lanes to allow new carriageway construction and other associated works.
The speed restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This speed limit restriction will come into operation on 02 June 2025 and will be required until 01 December 2025.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

A350 (Part), Poole Keynes; from its junction with Malmesbury Road to a point approximately 128m in a westerly direction to enable CCTV investigations, carriageway patching, and other associated works.
The speed restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This speed limit restriction will come into operation on 12 May 2025 and will be required for 1 day between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all users:
Footpath 55 (Part), St Paul Malmesbury Without; from its junction with Grange Lane for a distance of approximately 100m in a westerly direction to enable temporary construction compound to provide storage and welfare facilities for essential works at Rodbourne Water Treatment Centre (WTC) to the north to resolve historic issues with turbidity which have resulted in water supply outages.
Alternative route via a diversion as signed.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 02 June 2025 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 02 December 2025.
Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
