THE A36 TRUNK ROAD (CHURCHILL WAY WEST)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) intends to make an Order on the A36 trunk road in the County of Wiltshire to allow resurfacing and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place overnight (19.00 to 00.00) on 28 May 2025 and be completed by 4 June 2025.
The effect of the Order would be to authorise the closure of A36 southbound entry and exit slip roads to and from the access road for Waitrose Retail Complex.
During the closures, traffic would be diverted via junctions of the A36 and local roads.
The closures (which would not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles) and diversion route would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order would come into force on 26 May 2025 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
