Wellington, Temporary Road Closures & Speed Restriction Due To Highway Maintenance Works

Somerset Council Various Roads, Wellington in the Parish of West Buckland (Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2025

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce the following temporary traffic restrictions on the roads as specified in the Schedules below. This Order will come into operation on the 22nd day of May 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The Works are expected to commence on the 1st day of June 2025 until the 30th day of September 2025 to enable significant highway maintenance operational works to be carried out. The restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs. A copy of the draft Traffic Regulation Order and the associated plans can be examined at www.somerset.gov.uk/TRO.
