THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS)
(DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS)
(P004-25) ORDER 2025

Portsmouth City Council hereby gives Notice that on the 9 May 2025 it made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into effect on 12 May 2025.
A) TO INTRODUCE DISABLED PERSONS’ PARKING BAYS (MINIMUM 5-METRE LENGTH) IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:
Only vehicles displaying a Blue Badge or relevant permit issued by the Council may park at the above locations.

C) To extend the current disabled bay outside the MS Therapy Centre in Randolph Road (alongside 56 Hewett Road) from 10 to 15 metres, and to amend the operational times from "Monday-Saturday 8.30am-6pm" to " Monday-Friday 8.30am-6pm ".

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
