Magna Park to High Cross - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic to Enable Drainage Survey Works to Be Carried Out

What is happening?

THE A5 TRUNK ROAD (MAGNA PARK TO HIGH CROSS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A5 Trunk Road, between Magna Park and High Cross, in the Counties of Warwickshire and Leicestershire, to enable drainage survey works to be carried out.

The effect of the Order will be to close the A5 northbound from its roundabout junction with the A4303, Coal Pit Lane and the B4207, at Magna Park, to its junction with High Cross Road, at High Cross.

The work will be carried out between 21:00 hours and 05:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 2 June 2025 and continue for two nights. The Order will come into force on 26 May 2025.

Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes, and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closure.

A diversion route via Coal Pit Lane and Fosse Way will be signed.
