What is happening?

Clyst Honiton Proposals

Devon County Council propose to make these under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for Clyst Honiton, East Devon: Devon County Council (Road from Honiton Road to Pound Corner, Clyst Honiton) (Traffic Regulation) Order 6211 to introduce Prohibition of Motor Vehicles on a specified length of Road from Honiton Road to Pound Corner; revocation of existing Prohibition of Motor Vehicles on a specified length of Road from Honiton Road to Pound Corner & revocation of Prohibition of Goods Vehicles on a specified length of Road from Honiton Road to Pound Corner; Devon County Council (Road from Honiton Road to Pound Corner, Clyst Honiton) ‘(No Waiting At Any Time) Amendment Order 6212 to introduce No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Road from Honiton Road to Pound Corner. Where appropriate there will be the usual exemptions including those in relation to picking up/ setting down passengers, loading/unloading goods & disabled persons vehicles; Devon County Council (Various Roads, Clyst Honiton) (Restricted Road and Derestricted Road) Order 6213 to introduce Restricted Road (30mph by virtue of streetlighting) on a specified length of Access to Home Farm Buildings & Derestricted Road on a specified lengths of Road From Airport Road To Marlborough Cross, Road past Exeter Airport & Waterslade Way. For ease of reference existing restrictions are in the draft order. Draft orders, orders being amended/revoked, plan & statement of reasons may be seen at devon.cc/tro. Free bookable computer use is available during the opening hours of Devon Libraries.

Documents are also available to view during normal office hours at the address below. Objections & other comments specifying the proposal & the grounds on which they are made must be in writing to the address below or via devon.cc/tro to arrive by 30 May 2025. Receipt of submissions may not be acknowledged but those received will be considered. If you make a submission be aware that comments will be anonymised prior to being sent to Highways & Traffic Orders Committee (HATOC) members for consideration or being published on our website. Data may be shared within the Council & with our partner agencies. Personal details will be kept confidential in line with the Privacy Notice at devon.cc/troprivacy & will only be shared in accordance with the terms of that Notice or to comply with our legal obligations.
