Enfield, Multiple Temporary Road Closures Due To Various Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14(1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

ORDNANCE ROAD EN3 – 4498

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Railway Works

Operational Date and times:

Between 23:00 hours on 15 May 2025 to 06:00 hours on 16 May 2025 or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be:

• To close the road from its junction with Eastfield Road to a point 20 metres east of the railway level crossing. While this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

CHELMSFORD ROAD N14 – 4499

Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

Any time on 19 May 2025 for 1 day or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be:

• To close this road at its junction with Linden Way. While this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

JEFFERYS ROAD EN3 – 4500

Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 19 May 2025 for 14 weeks or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be:

• Close this road at its junction with Mollison Avenue; and

• Suspend parking on both sides of this road, between its junction with Mollison Avenue and Riverwalk Road. While this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

UCKFIELD ROAD EN3 – 4501

Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 19 May 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to:

• Close this road from a point 7 metres south of its junction with Ordnance Road, southwards for approximately 45 metres; and

• Suspend parking on both sides of this road, from its junction with Ordnance Road to the common boundary of Nos. 8/10 Uckfield Road. While this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

ABBEY ROAD EN1 – 4502

Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours on 21 May 2025 for 3 days or until works are completed.”

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road at its junction with Wellington Road to outside the eastern flank wall of No.4 Abbey Road. While this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.
