Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make and/or the effect of which:
The Perrings, Nailsea, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025
Date coming into Force: 25 June 2025
Ref: SW24-25-384
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by National Grid to facilitate landfilling/one pull operation for substation works. This order will become operative on the 25 June 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be duration of 1 day between the 25 June 2025 and 4 hours on the 4 July 2025 between 10am and 2pm. Appropriate traffic and pedestrian signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

FINAL NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which:
Downside Road, Backwell, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025
Date coming into Force: 19 May 2025
Ref: SW24-25-132
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wessex Water for installation of a new sewer and time trimming. This order will become operative on the 19 May 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be 4 days in duration between the approximate times of 10am and 3am. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This order will become operative on the 19 May 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 5 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by National Grid to excavate for substation works. This order will become operative on the 20 May 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the phased works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration on the 20 May 2025 and 1 day in duration on 27 May 2025 between the approximate times of 10am and 1pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025
Date coming into Force: 22 May 2025

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to replace poles. This order will become operative on the 22 May 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 7 hours duration between 8.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wales & West Utilities for connection point for gas main repair. This order will become operative on the 19 May 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration sometime between the 19 June 2025 and 25 July 2025 between the approximate times of 9.30am and 4pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
