Hill Street, Totton & Eling - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Duct-Laying Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –

HILL STREET, TOTTON & ELING, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Hill Street between its junction with Salisbury Road and its junction with Ridge Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A36, Salisbury Road, Romsey Road, A3090

DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 19th May 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Wednesday 21st May 2025 and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day.)
