(STOKE ROAD (B669), DESBOROUGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Stoke Road (B669), Desborough as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Stoke Road (B669), Desborough from the junction with Harborough Road (B576) to the junction with Back Lane.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to three nights.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use the B576, A6, A427 and B669.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(MARKET ROAD, THRAPSTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Market Road, Thrapston as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Market Road, Thrapston – between Huntingdon Road and Kingfisher Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during remedial works on behalf of David Wilson Homes.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to three days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Huntingdon Road, Midland Road and Market Road.

(MAIN ROAD, WILBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Main Road, Wilby as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Main Road, Wilby from structure 1070.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during post and rail repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to five days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Great Billing Way, Nene Valley Way and Wilby Way.

(HARDWATER ROAD, GREAT DODDINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Hardwater Road, Great Doddington as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Hardwater Road, Great Doddington from structure 3267.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during A & V post and rail repairs to structure.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 28th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to nine days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use High Street, The Ridge, London Road and Grendon Road.

(A6 ROTHWELL/DESBOROUGH BYPASS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of A6 Rothwell/Desborough Bypass as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of the A6 Rothwell/Desborough – full length from Desborough Road, Braybrooke roundabout to mini roundabout towards A14.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during swale cleaning, gully cleansing and vegetation.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 24th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to five days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Braybrook Road and Rothwell Road.

(HARBOROUGH ROAD & BRAMPTON HILL, BRAMPTON ASH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Harborough Road and Brampton Hill, Brampton Ash as set out below.
LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Harborough Road and Brampton Hill, Brampton Ash from Dingley village sign to Stoke Albany exit.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway stud removals.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for up to three days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Rothwell and Desborough bypass, A14 and A43.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Rushton Road, Rothwell as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Rushton Road, Rothwell from opposite no.72 to no.78.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(MILL ROAD, WELLINGBOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Mill Road, Wellingborough as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Mill Road, Wellingborough – between Highfield Road and Albert Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during Cadent Gas works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to eleven days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Elsden Road, Midland Road and Ranelagh Road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Desborough Road, Braybrooke as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Desborough Road, Braybrook from the junction of School Lane to the junction of Newland Street.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during road crossing works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Finedon Road, Irthlingborough as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Finedon Road – from house number 137 to Holbush Way (including junction).
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works for anti-skid pedestrians crossings.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 10th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 2 days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Bypass Road and Station Road.
