Park Road, Petersfield – Temporary Road Closure due to Pole Testing Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – PARK ROAD, PETERSFIELD, EAST HAMPSHIRE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Park Road between a point approx. 900 metres North of East Meon Road and a point approx. 1.2 kilometres south of A272 Winchester Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A272, East Meon Road

DURATION OF ORDER: from 19th May 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30 – 15:30).

The Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out pole testing works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk

Sunbelt Rentals Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
