TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4070 SLAD ROAD (STROUD TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4070 Slad Road from outside the property known as ‘No. 99’ to outside the property known as ‘No. 119’ for a distance of approximately 35 metres.

The reason for the closure is for water works by Severn Trent Water.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 410729 ROAD FROM HYDES BOTTOM TO SOLOMONS COURT BISLEY WITH LYPIATT PARISH STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 410729 Road from Hydes Bottom to Solomons Court from outside the property known as ‘Bramleys’ to outside the property known as ‘Hydes Bottom’ for a distance of approximately 415 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for pipe replacement and tree cutting works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C226 WHITMINSTER LANE (WHITMINSTER PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C226 Whitminster Lane from outside the property known as Packthorne Cottage to outside of the property known as ‘73’ for a total distance of approximately 181 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for telegraph pole installation works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS PARISHES) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict at the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for fibre cabling works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted during the dates and times, on a rolling programme, from 7th May 2025 to 6th August 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in place. Emergency access and pedestrian access to adjacent properties will be maintained. This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, at any time, and as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 06:00hrs on 6th August 2025.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401219 Slad Lane Road from its junction with Catswood Lane to its junction with Summer Street for a distance of approximately 1520 metres.

The reason for the said closure is to safely facilitate telecoms works clearing a blockage in the carriageway and verge.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401272 Coswell Lane from the properties known as ‘Time Cottage to Jasmine Cottage’ to outside of the property known as ‘The Haven’ for a distance of approximately 85 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for drainage works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below:

The reason for the said closures is for trackwork to extend the VM02 network for cabling and to clear blockages.

The said roads are expected to be closed, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 26th May 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures taking effect. The Order may permit the roads to be closed in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 13th June 2025.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL 50MPH SPEED LIMIT (A4135) (VARIOUS PARISHES) (STROUD DISTRICT & COTSWOLD DISTRICT) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council in exercise of its enabling powers contained in Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes:

  1. To introduce the 50mph Speed Limit detailed in the schedule below; and

  2. To revoke the existing 50mph Speed Limit Traffic Order on the A4135 at Kingscote and to re-propose it within this Traffic Order to consolidate the speed limits in one Traffic Order.

    Please note there will be no changes to the existing signed 50mph speed limit on-street at Kingscote as part of this Traffic Order process.
