What is happening?

THE BOROUGH OF BLACKPOOL

(COLERIDGE ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 7th day of May 2025 the Blackpool Borough Council made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers to allow for the disconnection of a gas service. The effect of the Order will be to:

(a) Prohibit any vehicle from entering or proceeding in any direction along the length of the gated alleyway to the rear of Coleridge Road and located to the side of 171 George Street from its junction with the rear of 31 Coleridge Road to the rear of 69 Coleridge Road.

Vehicular access to premises shall be maintained wherever possible. Pedestrian access to premises shall be maintained at all times. All diversion routes will be clearly signed and maintained on site.

The proposed Order will commence on 19th May 2025 and continue in force for eighteen months or until the sooner completion of the aforesaid works. It is expected that the works will take 16 days.
