What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
MONKS ROAD (PART), WINDSOR 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) 
ORDER 2025
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along this part of Monks Road from western boundary of No. 11 Monks Road to eastern boundary of No. 12 Monks Road.

There is no alternative route available.

The purpose of the Order is to facilitate works in the highway, namely repairs to leaking distribution valve and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The Order shall be in operation daily between 08:00 hours and 17:00 hours from Monday 12 of May until Wednesday 14 May 2025. There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
