ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(YELVERTOFT ROAD, WEST HADDON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Yelvertoft Road, West Haddon as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Yelvertoft Road, West Haddon – junction of A428 to Crick Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repairs to a defect.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Yelvertoft Road, West Haddon Road, Crick Road, Yelvertoft Road, Church Street, Main Road and A428.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Knightley Road, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Knightley Road, Northampton from Currie Road to Kingsthorpe Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
carriageway works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for
one day.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Curries Road, St Andrews Road, Kingsthorpe Road and Cartwright Road.

(ABINGTON AVENUE, NORTHAMPTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Abington Avenue, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Abington Avenue, Northampton from Wellingborough Road to Clarke Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
carriageway works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up
to three days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: for eastbound Abington Grove, Kettering Road, Park Avenue North and Wellingborough Road; and for westbound use Park Avenue North, Kettering Road, Kettering Road North, Booth Rise, Talavera Way, Redhouse Road, Holly Lodge Drive, Harborough Road, Kingsthorpe Grove, Kingsley Road and Abington Grove.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(ELKINGTON ROAD, WINWICK)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Elkington Road, Winwick as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Elkington Road, Winwick from Mill Lane for 50 metres.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
telecom pole replacement works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Deanshanger Road, Potterspury as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Deanshanger Road, Potterspury from the junction with A5.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during street lighting repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 3rd June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs
Regulations and General Directions 2016.

two days.

less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Stanton Avenue, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Stanton Avenue, Northampton from Ennerdale Road to Wellingborough Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
carriageway works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(BILLING ROAD, BRAFIELD ON THE GREEN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Billing Road, Brafield on the Green as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length
of Billing Road, Brafield on the Green from the junction of St Thomas Road to Brafield Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during water mains connection works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs
Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made
an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Plumpton Road, Weston and Weedon as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Plumpton Road, Weston and Weedon from outside of Manor Cottages.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
the replacement of a stop tap.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(THRUPP WHARF, COSGROVE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made
an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along
that length of Thrupp Wharf, Cosgrove as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Thrupp Wharf, Cosgrove from the junction of Station Road to county boundary.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the clearing of vegetation from parapet.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs
Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of
Park Avenue North, Northampton from Brookland Road to Cedar Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
carriageway works, anti-skid and lining works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs
