ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
U1081 MIDDLETON HALL JUNCTION
TO EARL MILL JUNCTION WOOLER
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U1081 Middleton Hall Junction to Earl Mill Junction Wooler from its junction with U1080 Haugh Head to Langleeford heading northwards for a distance of 575 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 27th May 2025 until the 6th June 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th May 2025 until the 29th May 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 6th June 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the U1080, C51, U1083 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre for the installation of a new pole. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
