What is happening?

TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER – PUBLIC NOTICE
SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL (STOPPING RESTRICTIONS, WAITING
RESTRICTIONS, LOADING RESTRICTIONS & PARKING PLACES) (MAP SCHEDULE) ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN tthat Sheffield City Council proposes to make an Order under the provisions of Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 46A, 49, 51, 53 and 124(1)(c), (d) (f) and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

Disabled Persons Badge Holders Parking Places (24 hours) on parts of Bellhouse Road, Chesterfield Road, Firth Park Road, Newlyn Road and Ridgeway Road
No Waiting At Any Time on parts of Firth Park Road, Newlyn Road and Ridgeway Road

And remove:

Free Parking Places Monday to Saturday 08:00-18:30 max stay 1 hour no return for 3 hours on parts of Bellhouse Road and Firth Park Road
Free Parking Place Monday to Saturday 08:00-18:30 max stay 2 hours no return for 2 hours on parts of Ridgeway Road
Free Parking Place Monday to Saturday 08:00-18:30 max stay 3 hours no return for 3 hours on parts of Chesterfield Road

Between 8 May 2025 and 29 May 2025.

Copies of the proposed Orders, plans showing the roads concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may also be examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH.

Any observations, either supporting or objecting to the proposed Orders, including the grounds for your objection, should be sent through the web addresses provided or in writing to the undersigned by 29 May 2025.
