What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A515 FROM BRIERLOW BAR TO DISTRICT
BOUNDARY, BRIERLOW BAR, FLAGG
WHEN: 09 May to 08 August 2025 (for 15 days within the date window).
WHERE: A515 from Brierlow Bar to district boundary, Brierlow Bar, Flagg.
REASON: To facilitate surface dressing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A515, A5270, A6, B5056, A5012, A515 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
