Salem Path - Temporary Footpath Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Salem Path) (Temporary Footpath Closure) (No.80) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 8th May 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
SALEM PATH
From its junction with Dorothy Dymond Street to Guildhall Walk.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate construction works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 8th May 2025 to 8th November 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Pedestrians will be diverted from Alec Rose Lane, Guildhall Walk and vice versa.
