TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
B5008 WILLINGTON ROAD, REPTON

WHEN: 22 May and 01 August 2025 for no more than 10 individual days between dates

WHERE: B5008 Willington Road, Repton, between the river bridge and Jct. with Burton Road (Repton Cross roundabout).

Surface dressing and sealing treatment Associated works
B5008 Willington Road, Repton Early working (05:00-08:00hrs) only Overnight works only

REASON: To facilitate surface dressing and other associated works, including road studs and markings removal/reinstatement and sealing treatment.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B5008 Burton Road, Repton; Repton Road, Main Street, Burton Road, Newton Road; Newton Solney; A511 Bridge Street, Horninglow Street; B5018 Hawkins Lane, Burton on Trent; A5121 Derby Road, Stretton, A38; A5132 The Castle Way, Willington; B5008 Repton Road (to point of closure) and vice versa.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Please allow extra time for your journey.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
