THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 INGS LANE, SOUTH CAVE

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Ings Lane, South Cave (whole extent).

The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed Ings Lane, South Cave works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 6 June 2025.

The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via Main Street, Carr Lane, Common Lane, Common Road and Millbeck Bank.

The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.

The Order will commence Monday 19 May 2025 and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Further information can be obtained from Streetscene Services, Highways Maintenance, telephone (01482) 393939. Ref: JS. Dated 8 May 2025
