Voases Lane, Anlaby - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic to Allow Sewer Connection Works

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL

VOASES LANE, ANLABY (PART) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Voases Lane, Anlaby (from outside number IA to outside number I B) commencing 12 May 2025 to allow sewer connection works to be carried out by Nulawn on behalf of South Cave Construction Limited. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.

The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed 26 May 2025.

The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be viaVoases Lane, Beverley Road,Wilson Street, LowrieId Road and Voases Lane, Anlaby. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure.

The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for residents, emergency services and pedestrians. Further information can be obtained by contacting the council and asking for Highways Customer Care, telephone (01482) 393939. Ref: RW.
