Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

ANTINGHAM – Elderton Lane from 124m north-west of its junction with Southrepps Road for 40m north-westwards to facilitate major bridge strengthening works between 22:00 and 06:00 from 12th to 13th May 2025 (may continue until 12th June 2025). Alternative route is via: Elderton Lane, Southrepps Road, A149 Cromer Road. The works promoter is Network Rail.

ASHMANHAUGH – School Road from 88m west of its junction with Stone Lane for 30m eastwards to facilitate water connection works from 13 to 14th May 2025 (may continue until 25th June 2025). AYLSHAM – B1145 Cawston Road 180m south-west of its junction with Woodgate Way eastwards to its junction with Henry Page Road between 9:30 and 15:30 on 13th May 2025 (may continue until 26th June 2025). BACTON – The Street from its junction with Coast Road for 80m southwards to facilitate new electrical connections works between 10th and 16th May 2025 (may continue until 27th June 2025). BEESTON REGIS – A148 Holt Road from its junction with Gibbet Lane to its junction with Beeston Lane to facilitate resurfacing works between 19:00 and 06:00 from 12th to 19th May 2025 (may continue until 12th June 2025). CROMER – C584 Overstrand Road/Mundesley Road/Cromer Road/Main Road/ Cromer Road/Church Street/Mundesley Road/Cromer Road from its junction with Northrepps Road to its junction with Glanwood Drive to facilitate drainage design works from 13th to 26th May 2025 only with single closures are in place (may continue until 7th July 2025). GREAT YARMOUTH – Clarence Road from 10m west of its junction with Nelson Road South for 30m eastwards to facilitate resurfacing works from 19th to 21st May 2025 (may continue until 27th June 2025). HOLT – 1) Mill Street from its junction with Albert Street for 20m eastwards and 2) Albert Street from its junction with Mill Street for 20m south eastwards to facilitate electrical link box works between 08:00 and 18:00 from 13th to 16th May 2025 (may continue until 27th June 2025). INGHAM – 1) Mill Road from 100m north of its junction with Calthorpe Street for 50m southwards and 2) Calthorpe Street from its junction with Mill Road for 50m eastwards to facilitate civil works on 14th May 2025 (may continue until 25th June 2025). REEPHS WITH BASTWICK AND ROLLESBY – A149 High Road/Main Road from its junction with Repps Road to its junction with Fleggburgh Road to facilitate final round of surface dressing and lining works from 16th May to 14th June 2025 (may continue until 23rd June 2025). MATTISHALL – The Street from 300m west of its junction with C131 Woodgar Road for 50m westwards to facilitate Anglian Water hydrant replacement works from 13th to 15th May 2025 (may continue until 26th June 2025). SHIPDHAM – Grange Farm Lane from its junction with Church Road for 150m westwards to facilitate pole testing works on 12th May 2025 (may continue until 23rd June 2025). Alternative route is via: Church Road, Harning Road, Grange Farm Lane. The works promoter is BT.

SPORLE – U6844 Vashon Lane from its junction with C389 Church Road for 526m north westwards to facilitate verge repairs from 15th to 16th May 2025 (may continue until 27th June 2025). Alternative route is via: Low Road, Shakers Lane, Kings Road (Pogner, Bedingham). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

WATTON – U31037 Church Road from 29m south of its junction with 3R1142 Watton FP to its junction with 3R1145 Watton FP1216 to facilitate footway council works for a new crossing from 12th May to 20th June 2025 only whilst signs indicate closures are in place. Alternative route is via: B1108 Norwich Road, U31031 Church Road, U3083 Chaston Place, U3080 Green Road/Church Road, U3081 Malthouse Road and vice versa. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council. NB – These works will take place across 3 phases and timings are to be confirmed. The total length will be closed at a time.

WEST WALSHAM – Stone Lane from its junction with A149 Main Road to its junction with B1150 North Walsham Road for 500m westwards to facilitate footway construction from 15th to 30th May 2025 (may continue until 25th June 2025). Alternative route is via: Slack Lane, Church Road, A149 Main Road (North Walsham, Happisburgh). The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks.

GREAT MASSINGHAM – Castle Acre Road from its junction with Drunken Driver for 250m northwards to facilitate UK Power Networks pole works from 13th to 15th May 2025 (may continue until 27th June 2025). Alternative route is via: Drunken Driver Road, Rougham Road, Litcham Road. The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

KING’S LYNN – Portland Street from its junction with Railway Road to its junction with Blackfriars Road to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The road will be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (eastbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both an easterly and westerly direction between 18:00 and 06:30 from 12th to 14th May 2025 (may continue until 26th June 2025). KING’S LYNN – Blackfriars Road from its junction with Wellesley Street to its junction with Waterloo Street to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works between 18:00 and 06:30 from 12th to 14th May 2025 (may continue until 23rd June 2025).
