Public Footpaths Ba16/2 & Ba22/18, Tucking Mill Reservoir, Monkton Combe - Temporary closure due to development works
What is happening?
Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the
effect of which is to temporarily introduce a closure to the section of Public Footpath
BA16/2 commencing from a junction with Public Footpath BA16/3 at ST76336173 and
proceeding in a generally S direction for approx 123m to ST76356162; and to the
section of Public Footpath BA22/18 commencing from ST76356162 and proceeding in
a generally SE direction for approx 64m to a junction with Public Footpath BA22/19 at
ST76396158.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely the applicant will be carrying out development works.
The Order will come into force on 19th May 2025 and will be effective for six months.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Public Footpath BA16/2 – Public Footpath BA16/1 – Tucking Mill Lane – Public Footpath BA22/18. Vice Versa.
