Buckinghamshire – Multiple Temporary Road and Bridleway Closures due to Works
What is happening?
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE
(Alderbourne Ln, Fulmer) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Alderbourne Ln for approx. 117M. Alternative route: Alderbourne Ln, Fulmer Common Rd, Windmill Rd, Fulmer Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cityfibre works to install duct and build associated chambers and cabinets for fibre optic cable installation commence on 19 May 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 19 May 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Sevenhills Rd, Iver) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Sevenhills Rd for approx. 142M. Alternative route: Sevenhills Rd, Pinewood Rd, Uxbridge Rd, Church Rd, Denham Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cityfibre excavation works to install duct for fibre optic cable installation commence on 12 May 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 May 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Parsonage Ln, Farnham Common) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Parsonage Ln for approx. 29M. Alternative route: Parsonage Ln, Victoria Rd, Beaconsfield Rd, Farnham Park Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas new service installation works commence on 19 May 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 19 May 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
(Public Bridleway No. 7, Parish of Denham) (Temporary Bridleway Closure) Order 2024 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Bridleway No.7/1, which commences at the junction with Broken Gate Lane and continues east, then north for the length of approx. 275M.
The closure is required in the interest of public safety due to erosion on the route.
There is no suitable alternative route. The proposed Order will come into operation on 27 April 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
