Temporary Road Closure Order 2025
On 26/4/2025 South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on B7078 Carlisle Road and Hamilton Road between Hamilton Street and A72 Lanark Road End. The Order will be in operation on 7/6/2025 from approximately 9:30am until 3pm.
Alternative route is via A72 Lanark Road End, A72 Lanark Road, Duke Street and Wellgate Street.
Access will be maintained to properties where possible but will be restricted.
