Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of; (a) Lavender Park Road (D3759) West Byfleet; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Lavender Park Road (D3759) West Byfleet Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024” in its entirety. Alternative Route: Camphill Road, and Madeira Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate installation of a speed table for, or on behalf of Silco Group. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 14 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 28 May 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Due to the nature of the works, it will not be possible to maintain vehicular access through the works area, and all vehicular traffic, including the emergency services, will be required to follow the diversion route. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclist will be maintained at all times. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
Brookwood Lye Road (A324) Brookwood
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic (including pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians) from entering or proceeding in that length of Brookwood Lye Road (A324) Brookwood as extends from its junction with (A324) Hermitage Road and (D3680) Blackhorse Road and for a distance of 200 metres in a westerly direction. Alternative Route for vehicles: (A324) Brookwood Lye Road, (A322) Bagshot Road, (A322) Guildford Road, (A322) Gordons School Roundabout, (A319) Bagshot Road, (A319) High Street, (A319) Chertsey Road, (A319) Chobham Road, (A320) Guildford Road, (A320) Chertsey Road, (A320) Victoria Way, (A324) Lockfield Drive, (A324) Robin Hood Roundabout, (A324) Amstel Way, and (A324) Hermitage Road, or this route in reverse. Alternative Route for Pedestrians: (A324) Brookwood Lye Road, (A322) Bagshot Road, Broadway, Redding Way, and (A324) Hermitage Road, or this route in reverse. This Order, which will commence on 26 May 2025 for a period of 18 months is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the said road, to be carried out by or on behalf of Surrey County Council, including but not limited to: reconstruction/repair/installation of street furniture/parapets/safety barriers, along with road and kerb resurfacing works. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. There will be no access (including pedestrians and cyclists) through the works area and all traffic including emergency service vehicles, will be required to follow the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected.

Public Footpath No. 61 (Send) & No.42 (Woking)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
The Surrey County Council Public Footpath No. 61 (Send) and No. 42 Woking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023 was made because the path in question has been undermined by the River Wey resulting in the likelihood of danger to the public. The Order came into operation on 14 November 2023. It was due to expire on 14 May 2024 but has was continued in force by the Secretary of State for Transport until 14 May 2025. It has now been continued in force by the secretary of state for a second time until 14 May 2026 or until the completion of the works, whichever is earlier.The Order as continued will have the effect of prohibiting all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along Public Footpaths 61 (Send) and 42 (Woking) which extends in an northerly then easterly direction, from the southern end of the footbridge over which the footpaths cross the River Wey (Grid Ref: 501559 154550), then in an easterly direction for 50 metres.The prohibition described above will only be operative while the County Council, or an authorised person acting on its behalf, displays signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002 (S.I. 2002 No. 3113) prohibiting the said movements. Access to properties will not be affected.The alternative route from the south-western end of the closure will be to Proceed direction along Footpath 42 (Woking). Continue along Footpath 42 (Woking) in a westerly direction to its junction with the Wey Navigation towpath. Turn right onto the towpath and proceed in a northerly direction to its junction with Footpath 43 (Woking). Continue along Footpath 43 (Woking) in a northerly direction to its junction with Footpath 55 (Send). Continue along Footpath 55 (Send) in a north easterly direction to its junction with Potters Lane. Turn right onto Potters Lane and proceed in a southerly direction to its junction with Footpath 60 (Send). Turn right onto Footpath 60 (Send) and proceed in a southerly direction to its junction with Church Lane. Turn right onto Church Lane and proceed in a westerly direction to its junction with Footpath 61 (Send). Turn right onto Footpath 61 (Send) and proceed in a north westerly direction to the north-eastern point of the closure. From the eastern end of the closure the alternative route will be the reverse of the one described above.
