Pencombe, Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Replacement Works
What is happening?
Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1110, Pencombe, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1110, Pencombe, approximately 30m east of entrance to Half Acre. Grid Ref: 361610/252855.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1110 onto the C1116 onto the A465 onto the C1117 onto the C1114 onto the C1110 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to pole replacement works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 30th of May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
