Evendine Lane, Colwall, Temporary Road Closure Due To Reinstatement Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1181, Evendine Lane, Colwall, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1181, Evendine Lane, Colwall, length of Evendine Lane. Grid Ref: 375877 / 241170.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Jubilee Drive onto the A449 onto Walwyn Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to reinstatement remedial works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th of May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 7 days.
