CORRECTION TO PUBLISHED NOTICE OF PROPOSALS

Further to the Notice published on 3 April 2025 in the Comet, concerning the proposed changes to the Norton Common car parks, the District Council hereby publish a correction to that Notice.

Schedule 1 of the Notice published on 3 April 2025 should have read as follows:

SCHEDULE 1

Off Street Parking places

Those parking places affected are listed below as set out in the above listed Order.

Letchworth – Norton Common Swimming Pool Car Park and Norton Common Bowling Club Car Park

Times of use – Monday to Sunday, 6:30am to 10:00pm, maximum stay 5 hours no return within 3 hours (electric vehicle charging bays, no return with 4 hours during charging hours).

Charges – Charging hours Monday to Saturday 6:30am to 5:30pm, up to 2 hours – free, up to 4 hours – £1.90, up to 5 hours – £5.00.

Sunday and Bank or Public Holidays 6:30am to 5:30pm, up to 5 hours – free.

Class of Vehicles – All classes other than commercial vehicles constructed or adapted for the purposes of carrying goods and being of an unladen weight exceeding 1500 kgs.

Objections to the proposals stating the grounds on which they are made should be sent by email to the address above or in writing quoting the Ref No. NHDc/OFFST/NC/2025 to Mark Hindmarch, Technical Project Officer, North Hertfordshire District Council, PO Box 10613 Nottingham NG6 6DW by 5pm on 23 May 2025.
