What is happening?

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14
(LONG NUKE ROAD, WEOLEY CASTLE, BIRMINGHAM)
PUBLIC PATH STOPPING UP ORDER 2025

The above Order was made on 23 April 2025. The effect of the Order will be to stop up the public footpath commencing adjacent to the south eastern corner of the frontage of 182 Long Nuke Road and proceeding in a north north westerly direction to its end with a length of 143 metres and a width of 2.5 metres as shown in bold black edging on the Order Map.

A copy of the Order and the Order Map may be seen free of charge at Weoley Castle Library, 76 Beckbury Road, Birmingham, B29 5HR between the hours of 10am-1pm and 2pm-6pm on Mondays and between the hours of 9am-1pm and 2pm-5pm on Thursdays to Saturdays.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Sonia Banger, Birmingham City Council, Legal & Governance Department, PO Box 15992, Birmingham, B2 2UQ not later than 8 June 2025. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Birmingham City Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
