Somerset Council Parish of Crowcombe - Temporary Closure of Stogumber Road
What is happening?
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Stogumber Road - from the junction with Cookley Lane, westwards for a total distance of 243 metres.
This Order will enable Airband Community Internet Ltd to carry out new connection works. The Order becomes effective on 23rd May 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 28th May 2025 and last until 28th May 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
