WIGAN COUNCIL
(Stanley Street, Tyldesley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025 Notice of Proposals
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director
Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of the Wigan Borough
Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said
Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Stanley Street,
Tyldesley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving
a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Stanley
Street, Tyldesley on the following days 10/05/2025, 14/06/2025,
12/07/2025, 09/08/225, 13/09/2025, 11/10/2025, 29/11/2025,
14/03/2026 and 11/04/2026.
Please note there is no alternative route available.
The Order is necessary to allow Tyldesley Makers Market.
(Lingards Lane, Tyldesley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025 Notice of Proposals
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Lingards Lane, Tyldesley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Lingards Lane, Tyldesley commencing on 30th June 2025 to 4th July 2025. The alternative route for traffic is: Marklands Road and Green Avenue

(East Lancashire Road, Worsley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025 Notice of Proposals
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (East Lancashire Road, Worsley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in East Lancashire Road, Worsley at its junction with Chaddock Lane, Left Turn Lane Only, commencing on 4th August 2025 to 10th August 2025. The alternative route for traffic is: Mosley Common Road, Hough Lane, Henfold Road, Church Road and Manchester Road The Order is necessary to allow Electric Ducting
