What is happening?

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(STOCKWELL ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the have made
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Stockwell Road at its junction
with Wergs Road/The Rock.

The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken
from 07:00 on 6 May 2025 until 16:00 on 9 May 2025.
The diversion route is: A41 Wergs Road, Danescourt Road,
Stockwell Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the filling of Tettenhall Pool
by Highway Maintenance.
