Lonsdale Road - Road Closed To Vehicles For Crane Works
What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES
LONSDALE ROAD
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR CRANE WORKS.
Lonsdale Road, to be closed from the junction of Ledbury Road to the junction of Colville Mews.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Monday 12th May 2025 until 18.00hrs on Tuesday 13th May 2025, with a backup date of Tuesday 20th May 2025 and Wednesday 21st May 2025.
Diverted through traffic may use, Ledbury Road, Colville Terrace, Colville Road, Lonsdale Road, or Ledbury Road, Westbourne Grove, Colville Road, Lonsdale Road, in both directions.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
