ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, RIGHT TURN & CLEARWAY)

(VARIOUS ROADS, WALSALL) ORDER NO. 1 MAY 2025

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle
proceeding in that length of:

* FARMHOUSE ROAD, WILLENHALL that is situated at its junction with Bentley Lane.
(Monday 12 May 2025 to Friday 16 May 2025).
Reason for Order: Gas main renewal.
Works on behalf of: Cadent.

* JESSEL ROAD, WALSALL that is situated at its junction with Bakers Street.
(Wednesday 14 May 2025 to 1630 Friday 16 May 2025)
Reason for Order: Pipe renewal.
Works on behalf of: South Staffordshire Water.

* STONNALL ROAD that is situated from its junction with Druids Avenue to its junction with Malvern Drive.
(08:00 – 1600) (Tuesday 13 May 2025).
Reason for Order: Building maintenance works.
Works on behalf of: Blade Traffic Management

* SUMMER STREET, WILLENHALL that is situated at its junction with B4464 Somerford Place for a distance of approximately 100 metres in a north westerly direction.
(Monday 12 May 2025 to Monday 2 June 2025).
Reason for Order: Cycle track construction
Works on behalf of: Walsall Council

And, prevent any vehicle from proceeding or stopping in that length of:

* WILLENHALL STREET, DARLASTON that is situated from its junction with A462 Midland Road to its junction with Rough Hay Road. (09:00 – 16:00 only) (Tuesday 13 May 2025 to Thursday 22 May 2025)
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing.
Works on behalf of: Walsall Council.

And, prevent any vehicle from undertaking the turn specified below:

* A right turn from A4148 BROADWAY, WALSALL into car park for apartment buildings at the junction of A4148 Broadway and A34 Birmingham Road.
(07:00 – 17:00) (Saturday 24 May 2025 to Sunday 15 June 2025).
Reason for Order: Divert and decommission a main.
Works on behalf of: Onsite Central Ltd.

This ORDER will come into operation on Monday 12 May 2025. It is anticipated that the works will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signed diversion routes (viewable
on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
