What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE is hereby given that the Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council has MADE the following Orders
under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
THE WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH
(GOODALL STREET (PART) AND HIGH STREET (PART)
WALSALL) (ONE-WAY TRAFFIC AND REVOCATION OF
PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER, 2025
WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
(CONSOLIDATED) (WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING,
DISABLED PARKING AND RESIDENTS PARKING)
AMENDMENT ORDER NO. 59, APRIL 2025
The Orders came into operation on 30 April 2025, the sole effect of the Orders is to reproduce and indefinitely continue the provisions of the following experimental Orders:
THE WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH (GOODALL STREET (PART) AND HIGH STREET
(PART) WALSALL) (EXPERIMENTAL ONE-WAY TRAFFIC AND
REVOCATION OF PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER, 2023
THE WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
(EXPERIMENTAL RESTRICTED ZONE HIGH STREET (PART) AND, PAY & DISPLAY GOODALL STREET (PART), WALSALL) ORDER, 2023

If you wish to question the validity of the Orders or any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks from 30 April 2025, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
