PUBLIC NOTICE

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(VILLIERS AVENUE) (TEMPORARY

PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Villiers Avenue from number 26 to the junction of Harper Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be underntakennnfrom 08:00 on 6 May 2025 until 16:00 on 18 May 2025.
The diversion route is: Harper Road, Elm Avenue, Regent Street and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate installation of storm/foul drainage connection onto existing sewer for new housing development under a s.50 licence by Quantum Groundworks.
