Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the C72 Lawn Road, from its junction with Foscombe Lane to its junction with Sawyers Rise, for a distance of approximately 100 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for excavation works in the carriageway to an existing gully and embankment for the Redcliffe Homes site.

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath CHP 22 from its junction with Public Footpath CHP 21 in a generally southerly direction for approximately 540 metres to its junction with Evesham Road and shown on the Map by a bold solid black line marked A to B.

The said public footpath falls within Prestbury Parish in Cheltenham Borough, within the County of Gloucestershire.

The said closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst construction works take place.

The said Public Footpath is expected to be closed between 6th May 2025 and 6th November 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closure is in force.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON STREET PARKING ORDER 2017 (UPPERFIELD ROAD & KINGSVILLE ROAD) (TOWN OF CHELTENHAM) (VARIATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made a Variation Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) by introducing the proposed waiting restrictions detailed in the Schedule below:

The 2017 Order will be varied by the attachment of plans similar to those used in this consultation and which identify the roads or sides of road to which the prohibitions and restrictions affect.

This Variation shall come into operation on 1st May 2025.

The lengths of roads fall within the Parish of Swindon within the Cheltenham Borough in the County of Gloucestershire. The usual exemptions will apply to Statutory Undertakers and Local Authority vehicles carrying out duties in exercise of their statutory powers, and also in the case of emergency services vehicles and disabled person’s vehicles.
