What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 (FOOTPATH ELLAND 019, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Crest Nicholson have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath Elland 019 from its junction with Grasmere Drive to Shaw Lane for a distance of approximately 530 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. The alternative route is via Grasmere Drive, Lower Edge Road, Shaw Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 4th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(LONG LANE, NORLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Long Lane from its junction with Goose Nest Lane to Watson Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 260 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point.
The alternative route is via Goose Nest Lane, Hob Lane, Harper Royd Lane,
Sowerby Croft Lane, Scar Head Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the
Order will come into operation on 5th May 2025 and remain in force for a
maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 16th May 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(RAMSDEN WOOD ROAD, WALSDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Sapphire Utility Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will
be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length
of Ramsden Wood Road from its junction with Stonely Road to No. 49
Ramsden Wood Road for a distance of approximately 100 metres. PROVIDED
THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection
with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained.
No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months,
notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 15th May 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
(ROCKS LANE/LANE HEAD LANE, OGDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Rocks Lane/Lane Head Lane from 73m north of Union Lane to junction with Per Lane for a distance of approximately 680 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Per Lane, A629 Keighley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 9th May 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(DEAN LANE, TRIANGLE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Dean Lane from The Dene to junction with Stubbing Lane for a distance of approximately 150 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Sandy Dyke Lane, Oak Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 9th May 2025.
The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30.
(ROOLEY LANE, SOWERBY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Future Network Solutions have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Rooley Lane from Caravan site to Prospect Place for a distance of approximately 268 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Plain Lane, Ratten Row Road, Helm Lane, Box Wood Lane, Dean Lane, St Peter’s Avenue, Towngate. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 10th May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th May 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(A643 HALIFAX ROAD, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by H H Construction Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of A643
Halifax Road from its junction with Gooder Street to Owler Ings Road for a
distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall
not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out
and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 6th May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 16th May 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 06:00.
(FOOTPATH HALIFAX 542, WARLEY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by L J Heffernan Utilities Limited intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath Halifax 542 from its junction with Butts Green Lane for a distance of 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. The alternative route is via Abbey Lane, Deep Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 19th May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd May 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(JAGGER GREEN LANE, HOLYWELL GREEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Rapid Response Telecoms intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Jagger Green Lane from outside Catsteps to The Barn for a distance of approximately 100 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend
to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the
emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Jagger Green Lane, New Road, Swan Lane, New Hey Road, New Road, Claypit Lane, Green Lane, Stainland Road, South Parade, Stainland Road, Station Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 19th May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st May 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(LANDS HEAD LANE, NORTHOWRAM)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Lands Head Lane from its junction with Hall Lane to Marsh Hall for a distance of approximately 90 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Hall Lane, Northowram Green, Town Gate, Tetley Lane, Upper Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 19th May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd May 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(SOWERBY CROFT LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sowerby Croft Lane from its junction with Watson Mill Lane to
Boggart Lane for a distance of approximately 130 metres. PROVIDED THAT
such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with
works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via A58 Bridge Street, Bank Road, Boggart Lane, Sowerby Croft Lane, Harper Royd Lane, Goose Nest Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 19th May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th May 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(WATSON MILL LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Watson Mill Lane from its junction with Long Lane to Scar Head
Road for a distance of approximately 80 metres. PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works
being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point.
The alternative route is via A58 Bridge Street, Bank Road, Boggart Lane, Sowerby Croft Lane, Harper Royd Lane, Goose Nest Lane and vice versa.
It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 19th May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th May 2025.
The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(PEXWOOD ROAD, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Chevron Traffic Management intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Pexwood Road from its junction with Bacup Road to Stones Road for a distance of approximately 375 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 22nd May 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(SOWERBY LANE, SOWERBY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no
person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sowerby
Lane from No. 18 to No. 21 for a distance of approximately 25 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained
at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st May 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(STATION APPROACH, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Centurion Traffic Management intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Station Approach from its junction with Ridge Road to No. 23 for a
distance of approximately 65 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall
not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out
and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Ridge Road, Burnley Road, Rochdale Road, Rise Lane, and vice versa.
It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 22nd May 2025.
