What is happening?

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic And Revocation Of One-Way Order

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 1/5/2025 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily revoke the One-way Order and prohibit traffic along:

Hanover St, Newcastle Under Lyme. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142512342.   

The Order will come into operation on 14/5/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 16/5/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Utility works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:

London Rd, Newcastle Under Lyme. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142147487. The Order will come into operation on 20/5/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 21/5/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Utility works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Wilmot Drive & Douglas Road, Newcastle Under Lyme. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142604670. The Order will come into operation on 19/5/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 27/6/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Structural Maintenance – Plain/resurface carriageway, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Blore Rd, Ilam. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143085635. The Order will come into operation on 12/5/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 16/5/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the bridge repair works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Chapel St, Newcastle Under Lyme. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=139769387. The Order will come into operation on 28/5/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/5/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Utility works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

New Rd, Newcastle Under Lyme. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142704045. The Order will come into operation on 30/5/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/5/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Utility works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Cross St and High St, Newcastle Under Lyme. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142707436. The Order will come into operation on 27/5/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 13/6/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Utility works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Minn Bank, Aston. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142536574. The Order will come into operation on 22/5/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the boundary box has been installed, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Chapel Ln, Kidsgrove. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142363590. The Order will come into operation on 23/5/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the poles have been replaced, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
