Myers Avenue, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL MYERS AVENUE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Myers Avenue, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Myers Avenue from a point outside No. 10 Myers Avenue to a point outside No. 12 Myers Avenue.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Myers Avenue (unaffected section), High House Road, Myers Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 13th May 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 15th May 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
