ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Order:

HOLYWELL, ROWINGTON

Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable works for renewal of a water pipe.

Order Commences: 6 May 2025 for up to 18 months

Anticipated Completion: 9 May 2025

Access & Diversion: Holywell, High Cross Lane, The Cumsey, Lye Green and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 0330 08 0820. Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

ADELAIDE ROAD, DORMER PLACE, PORTLAND PLACE EAST & PORTLAND ROW, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Adelaide Road closed Southbound from Portland Place East to Archery Road (traffic able to flow northbound), Portland Place East closed Westbound from Portland Street to Adelaide Road (traffic able to flow eastbound), Dormer Place closed in both directions between Augusta Place and Adelaide Road. In addition, traffic will be prohibited from making a Right Turn from Portland Row onto Adelaide Road.

Reason for Order: To enable works to clear blockages and access chambers.

Order Commences: 17 May 2025 for up to 18 months

Anticipated Completion: 18 May 2025

Access & Diversion: Dale Street, Warwick Street, Warwick Place, Guys Cliffe Road, Warwick New Road, Emscote Road, Coten End, St Johns, St Nicholas Church Street, Banbury Road, Castle Bridge, Myton Road, Princes Drive, Park Drive, Avenue Road, Adelaide Road.

CASTLE STREET & CASTLE LANE, WARWICK

Order Effect: Castle Street closed from junction with A429 High Street to its junction with Castle Lane, Castle Lane closed from its junction with Castle Street heading eastbound. In addition, One Way traffic flow on Castle Lane will be temporarily suspended.

Reason for Order: To enable underground structure works. Order Commences: 12 May 2025 for up to 18 months

Anticipated Completion: 12 May 2025

Access & Diversion: Castle Hill, Jury Street, High Street, Back Lane and vice versa.

CROMWELL LANE, BURTON GREEN

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable works to complete carriageway crossings.

Order Commences: 19 May 2025 for up to 18 months

Anticipated Completion: 22 May 2025

Access & Diversion: Cromwell Lane, Hodgetts Lane, Nailcote Lane, Spencers Lane, Tanners Lane, Station Avenue, Westwood Heath Road and vice versa.

PUBLIC CYCLEWAY SYDENHAM DRIVE, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Cycleway closed to all traffic from a point outside 33 Padmore Court.

Reason for Order: To enable works to lay a new gas service.

Order Commences: 21 May 2025 for up to 6 months Anticipated Completion: 23 May 2025 Access & Diversion: Cyclists to dismount.

PUBLIC FOOTWAY OLD WARWICK ROAD AND

EUROPA WAY, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic between signalised crossing on Old Warwick Road and the signalised crossing on Europa Way.

Reason for Order: To enable works in association with WCC3 Scheme.

Order Commences: 20 May 2025 for up to 6 months

Anticipated Completion: 10 June 2025

Access & Diversion: Princes Drive, Myton Road, Europa

Way and vice versa

ROUNCIL LANE. RED HOUSE LANE & SCHOOL LANE,

BEAUSALE

Order Effect: Rouncil Lane – closed between its junctions with Honiley Road and Kites Nest Lane, Red House Farm Lane – from outside Lane Farm House to junction with Honiley Road, School Lane – between its junctions with School Croft and Honiley Road.

Reason for Order: To enable works for new connections. Please Note: Work will be completed in phases with only one road closed at any time.

Order Commences: 19 May 2025 for up to 18 months

Anticipated Completion: 21 May 2025

Access & Diversion: Red house Lane closure – Rouncil Lane, Kites Nest Lane, Hawkes Barn Lane, Red House Farm Lane and vice versa. Rouncil Lane closure – Rouncil Lane, Dirty Lane, Heath Terrace, Honiley Road and vice versa. School Lane closure – Honiley Road, Clattyland Lane, Haseley Knob, School Lane and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
