What is happening?

Runnymede Borough Council

BOROUGH OF RUNNYMEDE (OFFSTREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT) (NO.*) ORDER 202*

Notice is hereby given that Runnymede Borough Council propose to make the above-named Order under Sections 32 and 35(1) and (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act.

The effect of the Order will be to amend the Borough of Runnymede (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2008 to incorporate the following car parks:

•Aviator Car Park, Station Road, Addlestone, KT15 2PG

•Coopers Hill, Coopers Hill Lane, Englefield Green, TW20 0LF

•Chertsey Recreation Ground, Guildford Street, Chertsey, KT16 9BW

•Thorpe Green, Green Road, Thorpe, TW20 8QL

•Crockford Open Space Car Park, Liberty Lane, Addlestone, KT15 1LS

•Truss’s Island, Chertsey Road, Staines, TW18 3LS

•Victory Park, Chertsey Road, Addlestone, KT15 2EW

•Egham Library, Fairhaven, Egham, TW20 9AY

Any objection to the proposed Order should be sent in writing, stating the grounds of objection, to the Corporate Head of Law and Governance, Runnymede Borough Council, Civic Centre, Station Road, Addlestone, Surrey, KT15 2AH (Email address: mario.leo@runnymede.gov.uk) and be received by 23 May 2025 at the latest.
