Providence Street, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Communication Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL PROVIDENCE STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of communication work to be executed on or near Providence Street, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Providence Street with its junction with Westgate to its junction with Longlands Street.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via New John Street and Westgate and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 6th of May 2025 and remains in force for a period of approximately 18.00 hours on the 8th May 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
