Mount Street, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Water Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL MOUNT STREET, LAISTERDYKE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works to be executed on or near Mount Street, Laisterdyke, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Mount Street from its junction with Mulgrave Street to its junction with Seymour Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Mount Street (unaffected section), Mulgrave Street, Leeds Road, Seymour Street and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 4th May 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 4th May 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
